Ad time!
February 5th, 2008 | by Paul |Due to a previous obligation, I will not have time to blog with the usual intensity that makes me rock. So, like a hung-over high-school health teacher, I’m going to dim the lights and make you watch a couple films.
Here is the Budweiser Clydesdale Super Bowl commercial that became a topic of discussion at the party where I watched the game. I mentioned this in the last post. To refresh, there was a topic of whether this hearkened back to when people did use horses for all sorts of horrible labor.
And here is a news clip about an Abercrombie and Fitch store in Virginia whose ads got cited for obscenity. The charges have since been dropped, apparently.
Finally, here is a Lipitor commercial featuring the inventor of the artificial heart. Congress has been grilling Robert Jarvik on the matter, as that ABC.com story shows. (OK, so there’s still some reading). What do you think? Is it inappropriate?
